Bear baiting

The Maryville Daily Times reports that local TWRA officers may have been involved with hunting bear over a baited spot up on Chilhowee Mountain.

That's bad enough, but then today's poll is "Should bear baiting be legalized?"

Say what? Why not just allow hunting at the zoo?

No doubt there are some mental giants coming up with those polls. I'm waiting for should we stop at stop signs?

Well, thankfully at least the "nos" are winning this time. The Powers that Be must not care about bear baiting.
