When the cost of Electricity is much more than the priceSubmitted by BeyondLeft on Wed, 02/27/2008 - 20:09.
... eventually ... "The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is expected to issue tougher air-quality standards for ozone in a move that could affect dozens of Tennessee counties ..." "Gov. Bredesen just announced Yesterday, plans to create a comprehensive energy policy for Tennessee ... We, as a state, can focus on driving innovation." Better git as many of them glass electric thingies on your roof, as soon as possible. Looks like we shoulda left all that Oil & Coal alone, undisturbed, under the ground--the cost is gettin' kinda tremendous. Pssst ... that big brown smudge is still there, and it's still a growin. ![]() ( categories: )

TVA sets $597M emissions controls on coal plant near Smokies
Beware, oh brave Electrical Power user: This is just the first of many rate increases to come, for the EPA will soon grow larger teeth and sharper claws. It is a shame that after S. David Freeman's retirement, TVA has essentially ignored the soot and CO2 problems.
BL - Not out of ignorance, but more out of a zest for knowledge and understanding, can you elaborate further on the link between S. David Freeman's retirement and TVA's pollution problems?
Thanks.
